yes, if you put the word "church" in that broad sense. Human are make to worship. If they don't worship God, they will worship anything that takes their fancy just like you said.

You're confusing the term Church with a building. The Church is made up of those who follow after Christ, the son of the living God, not some building they worship in. God cannot be confined to the four walls of a sanctuary and a one hour service on a Sunday morning.

church (chûrch)
n.
A building for public, especially Christian worship.
often Church
The company of all Christians regarded as a spiritual body.
A specified Christian denomination: the Presbyterian Church.
A congregation.
Public divine worship in a church; a religious service: goes to church at Christmas and Easter.
The clerical profession; clergy.
Ecclesiastical power as distinguished from the secular: the separation of church and state.

No, because that is not "divine" worship and it's not sanctified. In the Holy Bible, Ephesians chapter 5 verse 27, the church is described as being "holy, and without blemish" I dont think you can say that about those places. Hope that answers your question.

Everybody worships something, don't they?
Somebody needs to worship life and peace and The Golden Rule, or we're all doomed.
