I read Garfield daily..and have for a while. What a classic! Recently I have noticed a "plot" sort of for Jon, he seems to be steadily dating his girlfriend. This hasn't happened in the past, and each week the 'story' continues. Do you think after 25 years, Jon will get married?

I sort of hope so, for his sake. Hey, if Cathy can get married, Jon can! But I have a bad feeling about this. I am afraid that Liz will suddenly regain her memory (she has had amnesia, that's why she's willing to date Jon lately) and reject Jon and leave him alone and lonely. The writer can't do otherwise; it would be like Charlie Brown actually kicking the football, or flying the kite, getting lucky with the little red-haired girl.

It's abot time!
I LOVE Garfield, and I was wondering if Jon would ever even date.
My question is: How will Garfield handle not being the center of Jon's universe and will it end the strip (they do that on tv shows when they want to call it quits).
I hope not...

I don't think so. I am waiting for him to come out of the closet. Besides, Garfield is ****blocking.
