try a box of baking soda in each drawer followed by dryer sheets before you put the clothes back in.

1st if you haven't already wash out each drawer. Use Murphy's oil soap. The smell may still be there but not as strong once drawers are dry use Moth balls or ceader. These have always worked great for me in the past.

Before placing clothes back in dresser you may want to spray them with Fabreez.

This is easy. Go to Home Depot and buy an aerosol can of sanding sealer. Also get a quart can of VM&P naphtha. Wet a paper towel or rag and wipe down the inside and outside of the case with naphtha; this will dissolve the residue. Then spray the insides with the sanding sealer. If the case still smells, you will have to relacquer it, again something you can do by buying a clear lacquer from Home Depot.

Take the dresser drawers out, put cedar blocks in the drawers, paint the insides of it with original kilz....that will get rid of any odor, you can try painting the insides of the drawers with kils too, but then you will have to topcoat it with a nice latex or oil paint

Mix Baking Soda, water and a bit of bleach, in a spray bottle. Spray well, then rinse with just Baking Soda and water. Let it open to air dry.

You can find scented shelf liners, potpourie (however you spell it), or those little cedar wood squares which act as odor removers.
