7, I personally don't like this team very much but they seem pretty solid.

i would give them an 8 if the team is healthy and Henrik Lundqvist can perform well in his sophomore year as a goalie. they picked up a gritty player that can still score Shanahan. and another young player Petr Prucha can have a break out year with the Rangers. and you know that if Jagr is healthy he will dominate the league. and if Lundqvist has the sophomore jinks and Jagr is injured this season then they will drop to maybe a 5 and not make the playoffs.

I would have to say 8 since they have won a STANLEY CUP more recently than the Flyers. Also, the Rangers have the best fans in the world.
