I don't know about cleaning with it. However, I have heard from a friend that if you burn your skin, that rubbing mustard on it will prevent scarring/blisters. Her husband is living proof.

mustard is best for cleaning up those pesky hot dogs. every time i put mustard on a dog dog it disappears in a jiffy! helps with hamburgers too. oh and dont forget turkey sandwiches, can be very helpful after thanksgiving.

I don't think that mustard an be used to clean anything, although it's great for staining things :-).
