There is 88 on a regular piano... 52 white and 36 black.

Grand pianos have a few extra.

That depends on the size of the piano, which ranges from a toy piano to a grand piano.

The size is in term of the number of octaves (set of 8 keys).

Most people will tell you 88 but my little electronic Yamaha only has 61 regular sized keys. So try before you buy...lol
P.S. It was a gift from a friend, so beggars can't be choosers, but still it's missing a few octaves.
