im starting this new school (again) and this time, people here are soo different. its soo hard to make friends. i mean some of the people i hang out with think im emo, or goth, (wich is NOT true) Anyway, need some advice on making friends, (wich i should be use to by now sence its my 7th school, so don't just give me the basics)
and just for your info, im those shy, but out going type.. if you get what i mean, and just going up to some one and saing "hi, wats your name"?, dosen't count.

Well, don't change yourself! You need to find friends who will accept you for who you are. Not some fake version of you. Why have you changed school so many times? You need to stick with friends once you make them. Just be open, honest and be yourself. You'll find the right group, you've just got to keep looking!

i was in your same exact situation. I went to a new school but it was different from what i was use to. I'm doing alright now but i still struggle..............but it will take some time. What i would do is be like is: this teacher good, and then be like so whats your name and go on from there. Since it's so different some people will try to not try to be your friend because your different. See i go to a very rich people school and i well.............am not rich. I tried to be friends with some people but they acted like i was not there.but i kept doing it and i had some by like a week. So if you get regected it's ok. It will happen, you just have to brush it off and try again. I even make fun of myself and show off for being different and thier ok with it. Like i go off on how much i save up on not taking the city buss etc. but i do it to have fun. Idon't do it to put myself down and them to laugh at me. They laugh with me. and it's great. so even though you won't like it by tring to go and make friends and talk at least try.I mean what's the worst thay can do? And if you don't make friends that dosent mean your a loser. It just means your independant.And thats great!!!!!!!!!!

I Know How you feel with the Emo/ Goth thing Im Kinda emo but Im All cool, Im Shy to, All I do Is Socialize or try to atleast.

i have that same problem, i'm not goth cuz i wore a black shirt and have some hottopic shoes. anyway i think you should let people know your a pretty nice person and that should be a good start. don't forget to smile, not the huge weird grin kind just little smile. for some reason people like that.
