When I connect my iPOD to the computer it won't show up in iTunes. This means that I can't add music. What should I do?

throw it at the wall...or get a new one...or clean out the USB connector...throwing it at the wall would be the best

Try reseting your ipod by holding menu and the middle circle button. Then your ipod will flash black then show the apple logo then it goes back to your menu screen. That happened to me but if that doesn't work then try going to the help section of itunes.

you need to install the iPod driver software found at apple's website. Also, make sure that all of your usb or firewire ports are activated. Lastly, make sure the cable works and is completely plugged in.
