The Dems/Libs are in an uproar. I'm a Conservative, not a Republican and I hold with conventional wisdom that NK didn't and doesn't have the technology to build nukes.

The explosion was most likely conventional weapons, not nukes. If it was nukes it was a dud so no problem. There have been talks with NK for two decades. Clinton was lied to twice by KJi and Bush was deceived (with the rest of the multi-lateral countries) once.

If they have nukes and threaten Japan, China or the US we will not have to do anything; China will take out NK for the world.

China is on the cusp of becoming the world's economic superpower. They don't need this wingnut ruining everything.

I think John up above in Answer #3 has the liberal response layed out very nicely. "Dud"? The Japanese don't believe it was a "dud". And being a liberal you wouldn't believe it was a real bomb even if it had vaporized the entire Korean peninsula! You guys are just that numb-skulled.

I'll sit back and watch the liberals attack the republicans instead of working together to get something done.

I am not sure. Kim just wants aid, and if we give him such, he will continue to threaten with nukes. Tough call here, tough call
