im trying to find the name of a film. its a family film, came out a round the same time as flight of the navigator. its a bout some kids who build a make shift space craft at the bottom of there garden out of rubbish bins and other junk, and 1 day they are all in it playing, and it takes of and goes to a planet. of funny looking creatures and they talk,to the kids, and they keep returning to the planet, but i cant remember what its called, been bugging me 4 years, av u any idears . wood be so happy if i new ....

Explorers...Starred River Phoenix and Ethan Hawke.
They came up with a computer formula and it created an indestructible sphere. It was sent to them in their dreams. They made their "ship" out of an old tilt a whirl machine and increased the size of the sphere to fit over the machine.
The sphere took them to the space ship with the aliens on it.

yes its explores!! i think its from the middle of the 80's, i think its from 1985. it was one of River's first films. it was starred by River and Ethan.
