do not touch the babies until they have a lot lot lot lot of fur. If you do touch the hamster they will eventually die or get eaten by the mom. (did you take the dad out the cage cause he might eat a baby hamster, if you did not then i think you can just leave the dad cause so far he has don no harm) why do you want to seperate the mom? isn't she providing the babies with the help they need. feeding and caring from them from their dad and hunger. Make sure you feed the mom and the mom is tearing everything because she is making another nest or making a necst for her babies now or she might even think that the objects are living things taht can hurt her and/or her babies. If ou are still confused and have question i would recommend you ask a vet or maybe a friend that has experienced this once or more times, maybe you can even buy a book but just make sure you do not do this: sell the babies: if you do the mom will be terrorized and the baby will die because they are not prepared to go out into the real world yet, a vet or a book will tell you when you can seperate the mom, different hamsters have different rules so make sure your vet knows what kind you have and that your friend has the same type of hamster. i hope that helps!

*do i give my fullgrown hamsters baths, and how so?
No because hamsters get the chills and hamsters are not natural swimmers.

*can or when can i hold the babies?
At 14 day- they will have fur and thier eyes will be open.

*since i am supposed to be holding the mom now how do i since she shreds anything that goes in the cage. ouch! lol. how the heck am i supposed to hold her then and should I?
You don't have to. Most of the time they don't like it anyways. They are sore after birth

*when do i seperate them from the mom?
At around 3 weeks.

*if i do not seperate them will they have more babies? is that wrong? i want her to have as many babies as she can. I have good homes for them allready, and i want to know if it is wrong or not.
NEVER inbreed. Never breed brothers and sisters. the parents and thier babies will die. a big waste of life.

*the mom goes under into her nest. i cant see them, but i she the nest vibrating rapidly, why?
Lots of babies. I had baby hamsters before, that's just what they do.

*any other suggestions you have for me.....
Boiled chicken and soy milk for the mom cooked veggies for the babies.

Hey congrats!

I've had hamsters that had babies so I have a little bit of experience.I hope I can help. I'll try to keep this in order.

You can give baths just don't use soap. Use very lukewarm water and hold it under the faucet. Don't turn it on all the way, just a light trickle. Or you can use a wet wash cloth. Hamsters clean themselves but if you want to bathe it, you can.
Don't hold the babies for another 5-7 days.
She bites you? I'd keep my hand outta there! Maybe she's nervous with the babies. She might change once the kids are out of the house.
You can take them away once you notice they're eating by themselves which is pretty quickly!
If you can, keep the boys away from the girls so you don't have to go through this again! They will mate.
I don't think it's a good idea to let her have more babies.
I'm not sure why the nest is vibrating. Sorry.
But good luck!

Cool.
No dont give any hamster a bath.
You can hold the babies when they are 3 weeks old.
Dont play or hold your hamster until the babies are 2 wks old.
When they are 4-5 weeks old.
Yes it is possible.
If you have homes for them then there is nothing wrong with it, there hamsters.
The babies and the mom are moving around.
Yes.....
If a babie gets out of the nest dont touch it the mom will get it.
If a babie dies the mom will take it out of the nest... remove the dead babie.
Supply the mom with plenty of fresh food and water.

And good luck!

they can be sepperated when the babies have hair and can fend for themselves. You can give your hampster a bath in the sink with just a little water in it, or take a wash rag and pick her up with that and wash her up too. Yes it would be wrong to inbread, would you mate with your brother? Yuck!
