An element
Noble gas
Rn
Has an atomic mass of 222
Has an atomic number of 86
Has 8 electrons (8th Group) in the outer shell (Rule for noble gases)
Is a gas
Is non metallic
Has 6 orbitals (6th Period)

Hope this helps!

Oh, and a few more things:
Protons and electrons=Atomic # (As in 86 of each for this one)
Neutrons=Atomic mass, rounded, minus the atomic number. I don't know the rule for high school or college chemistry though.

radon is a gas. I know because when I sold my last house the buyer, an MD, insisted on radon prevention. It cost me a bundle. Holes were drilled in the basement floor, The gas coming up from the earth was monitored, and a pump exhaust system was installed to move any concentration out of the house.

Radon is a radioactive gas that is produced in the earths' crust by the natural decomposition of radioactive elements such as uranium. In some parts of the world, it is known to collect in caves and basements and some studies have linked it to an increased risk of lung cancer, but elsewhere, people actually pay to spend time in caves where there are high levels of it because they believe it cures joint diseases and other illnesses. The experts, as usual, are 50/50 on it. Thank God for experts.

It's one of the "noble gases" like helium -- a familiy of elements that don't combine chemically with anything. It differs from all the other noble gases in being mildly radioactive.
