just go off by yourself, pout for a second, get mad, think about what you did wrong, see what you can do to improve, remember it's just a race and not the end of the world, smile cuz you can actually run, then get up and move on.

Just get over and think that you had a bad day, its not the end of your running career...
everyone has their bad days and you just had one!!!!
I would just shake it off and practice harder and try harder for next race so you can prove yourself to yourself!!!

I would reward myself a cup of ice cream after dinner, take a bubble bath then have a nice sleep.
