Just be nice and relax. Smile and when someone engages you in conversation or you engage them in conversation do your best to look interested and don't get caught up over what you're saying, just say it. A lot of people that 'blend in' just need to open up a little more and people will begin to notice them. And if you really want attention you could do any number of things, dye your hair, wear something whacky, carry around an interesting book, the possibilities are endless. The best way to get noticed is to just be out there and ready to introduce yourself or start a conversation.

Unfortunately, we live in a day where girls are pressured to dress provocatively for male attention. Sure, you'll get noticed for oh, say.. the first 30 seconds. But after that, then what?
Don't get me wrong, though. appearance is important, to an extent. You don't want to look like you've just rolled out of bed everyday.. Put some effort into it, but don't over-do it.
I grew up in a house full of boys. Most of my friends now are male, and I'm often reffered to as "one of the guys". I have somewhat of an upper-hand when it comes to what men want. They're looking for someone with a good sense of humor, a comedian of sorts. Someone who can be lady-like when need be.. but who can be able to roughhouse around from time to time.
I know I'm getting a bit off subject here.. but all I'm saying is.. find out who you -really- are.. Let your personality win people over for you!

There are lots of ways to get noticed. You can fall off a horse and get paralyzed and make the news. You can burn your face so it's totally disfigured and people will stare at you, but pretend they aren't.

I always try to add fun acessories to my outfits; a neat hair thing, a different necklace, a funky hairdo, or a new shade of eye shadow. But a smile is always the best way. Be different! It is the only way to attract people's attention. If it fails than try to do something more extreme such as changing the color of your hair or wear something provocative.
