Phineas Gage, when he was 25, and an annyversary is close, on September 13, 1848.

He was manipulating TNT. The thing exploted and he got a 7 kilo 3ft iron rod into one of his cheeks, wich went out straight through his brain and got out from the upper part of his head!

He died in 1861.. more that a decade later!
