Joe Dumars...Joe Dumars has done some great things for us in the past.But I don't think this laid back and just let things happen is going to work for us.I mean seriously,since he has acquires Rasheed he has done nothing.
He let Ben Wallac go...the heart of this team for so long.
Had a chanche to sign Al Arrington or Bozni Wells but made no move...instead settled for Flip Murray and Nazr Mohhamed.

the recent aquisitions do not reflect his standing as a good front office person. he did not simply let ben wallace go, bulls had a better offer than what the pistons could afford. joe dumar's front office career you can say overshadows his basketball career not to say either one was better than the other. he did sign players who were not regarded as the nba elite but those players joined together and did win an nba championship ring. chasing for al harrington would have been useless because they don't need a SF/PF. they needed a center and nazr mohammed was the best choice. it's not his fault players like bonzi wells did not sign with them. joe dumars had no control in signing players. players have their own preferences too. yes he has not done anything significant after sheed but the reason is, he does not have to. joe dumars had created the best starting 5 the league hasnt seen in so long. though nazr mohhamed will not give the same dominance ben wallace had, he will still provide tons of rebounding and post play.
