My period is about 3 weeks late. What could that mean?

It really does depend. There are different reasons why you could be late. My cycle tends to run between 26-38 days long. It's never the same. Pregnancy is typically the first reason people think of for being late. Stress can also cause lateness as can ovarian cysts or other diseases disorders. The best bet would be to talk to your doctor about what may be causing your irregularity. Always use protection when having sex unless you WANT pregnancy.

sounds like you might be pregnant. if you are sure your period is three weeks late go out and buy a home pregnancy test right away. It should register positive by now. Losing your virginity has nothing to do with the regularity of your periods... getting pregnant does.

Well the monthly period has nothing to do with if loose your virginity,but while losing your virginity if you become pregnant There is no worry for the monthly period.If your period is almost 3 Weeks prolonged better consult a gynecologist, or go to woman's health center.Talk to your Mom and your family Doctor.

well the first thing I would do is check to see if I were pregnant. And it could be from loosing your virginity, your age. When you have sex you open up an area inside of your body that has not been messed with, so alot of chemical changes can also happen in your system as well.

It could mean you are pregnant, it vould mean you have some type of infection, and it could mean your are having an irregular period...
You should make an appointment for a pregnancy test and exam asap and find out what it is...

Three weeks late? Oh, boy. Take a pregnancy test, soon.
Having sex will not make your period irregular, if anything, having sex regularly will make your period more regular.

well it dependds on your body people are different but if you dont get your period you need to check with a doctor to see if your pregnant or it may just be your body changing... i know someone who didnt have they period for 3 months
