It appears that North Korea truly is a full blown member of the "axis of evil". So knock off the ANTI-AMERICANISM. North Korea is threating NUCLEAR WAR!!!!! IS that not EVIL? And to those whom will undoubtedly blame the NK nuke test on America....GET REAL. WAKE UP.
PS. North Korea was able to pull this off because of Anti-Americanism. Trust me. we would have stopped them dead in their tracks but couldnt because of "unfavorable world opinion of the USA". Thanks guys thanks. NOW YOU DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!

Of course we were right. (smile) Of course, those who blame this on the U.S. are right, too, since it was President Clinton and his bunch who gave President Elvis the stuff he needed to make the bomb(s?). He just said he was a nice guy and he didn't mean any harm and, naturally, they fell for it. I wouldn't be surprised if Clinton or one of his group doesn't have PM Chamberlain as one of his ancestors. Now, we all have to deal with it.

Officially, the US has conducted 1054 nuclear tests since 1945. N. Korea tests 1 bomb and everyone goes crazy. I am NOT pro-N Korea. In fact, I think he is as crazy as that nutter in Iran (if not worse). Kim Jong-IL wanted a reaction and that is exactly what he got.
The US has more Nuclear Weapons than any other country in the world. They were the first and only nation to use them in an act of war and still, despite all the lip service about disarming and reducing the number of nuclear devices, the US military recently asked Congress for funding for Nuclear tipped bunker busters (this was denied by Congress). The fact is: practice what you preach. The reason these states are making trouble is the US foreign policy gives them reason to react the way they do. Iran would not be the troublemaker it is, if Bush had stayed out of Iraq. Perhaps then, he would have the military power to ensure that rogue states like N Korea don't misbehave. Just my opinion.

Fact: as a non-executive director of ABB, Donald Rumsfeld signed off on a 200 million dollar contract to sell reactors to N. Korea in 2000. Wake up, Get Real and look at the facts. We will not bother with N. Korea, Iran is the next target. It is called geopolitics. There will more than likely be a pretext and that will probalby come with another state sponsored attack. Read the PNAC documents and deal with it.

YOU are the un-American for thinking that freedom of speech is un-American.

Why didn't Bush do anything other than the obviously ineffective six-party peace talks to stop N. Korea during his 6 years in office? Now, all of a sudden after it's too late he says actions must be taken.
And before they started their nuclear program, Kim Jong il said he will not let what happened to Saddam, happen to him. Bush could have done far more during his 6 years instead on focusing on the unnecessary front in Iraq. I am aware of the assistance Clinton gave the N. Koreans, but in the 1990's N. Korea was not developing nuclear weapons.
He was developing them after the Iraq war.
What does that tell you. Hmmm?

Bill O'Reilly will love you! And Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et al. Have you given serious thought of applying for a job at Fox News? You should.

Hallelujah! Looking at some of the answers here, the Rightwing Warmonger and Belligerence Chorus has lost its voice. You are not getting the answers you expected now, are you? And the ones favourable to your cause are particularly crude. Down to the last few?

The only place they can hit in america is cali. Less liberals wouldn't be a bad thing. Atleast nukes are easily detected. I still say there is more danger from the Iraqi's, Afgan's, and all of the other middle east countries. They sneak in and hit you when you aren't looking. A well placed nuke in the middle of Iraq would end this quick, and we could move on to more important matters, like welfare junkies.

Is this what Rush's program was about today. Doesn't make sense to me, how do we deal with North Korea, attack Iraq. Bush knew when we went to war with Iraq that N.K was working on this as a goal. Why didn't he instead go to war with N.K., Iraq was well contained, they didn't have much left even to fight back. Where is the logic?

... uh... how do you make the jump from "anti-Americanism" to "North Korean nukes"... who would have stopped them and when... and who was in the way?

I've never heard anyone go "don't worry about N. Korea"... except for Republicans too busy invading Iraq? Are they the "un-American" ones?

patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel...

So tell me genius, why isn't Bush sending a team to negotiate with China, Japan, and South Korea? And please don't tell me that were going to bomb them or invade. They have a million man Army that will invade South Korea immeadiately. Bush's stupid cowboy deplomacy has done nothing to help this situation.
