is there a way to dicorate a one gallon fish bowl with out buying anything home made

it would be easier just to get him/her a five gal heated filtered tank,bettas are warmmater fish,bowls cant stay warm.how often do you do water changes???did you cycle the bowl?bettas can survive in a bowl but thier gills and the rest of thier bodies get amonia burns and poor water quality is not a good thing for any fish.i breed and raise bettas so i know what im saying,but if you insist on ruining the rest of his life by making him live in a bowl give him a small silk plant,not plastic.
bowls are for cereal,not fish!!

I have decorated my betta bowls, and the fish seem to really like a small plant that has some leaves. I just get the plastic ones from our pet store. I layer the bottom with those smooth, oval shaped, glass things that are kind of like marbles. I also bought something for my fish to swim in- a figurine of 2 sunken barrels that have lots of holes to swim in and out of. Best of luck!

you can use marbles rinsed off, some home plants are okay for a fish tank the Betta likes to hide in the roots, and i found out some stone(natural) like granite rinsed off really well can be used as a decoration.

Marbles look really nice... and if you put in a plant that likes very wet environments, like a Lucky Bamboo, its really pretty.
