Before getting into Internet, books, etc., try to understand what you want to be capable of!

1. You can only convert from one system to the other and only for the same kind. I mean, you could do from inches to feet but not from inches to lbs!
2. You should write down everything you want to convert, for example: Y lbs per square inch (= lbs/ in2 = psi).
3. You need to convert it to bars, let say!
4. you write down how many bars are equal to psi? You make a ratio: Z bars = W psi [or 1= Z bars / W lbs/ (in X in)]!
5 Now, you multiply what you initially had [Y lbs/ (in X in)] times 1 (=Z bars / W lbs/ (in X in)
6 You proceed with the numbers and then with the units!
7. Voila! You got the right answer!
