Is there such thing as hydrogen dioxide?

They say hydrogen dioxide is water but water is dihydrogen monoxide, so is hydrogen dioxise real and why or why not?

Yes. It's called Hydroperoxyl (Hydro for H, peroxyl for OH). It's quite toxic.

it needs tobe 8
so the H is 2
