I have 3 sims 2 expansion packs.

Do I need 4 cds in my computer at once to play the game? The Open Business, University, Night Life, and Sims 2 ?

And could I actually drive a car to university?

Thank you.

you can't have 4 CDs in there. When you want to play the expansion pack, you will need to install each of them, then you use the 1st disc of whatever expansion pack you want to play. You should probably back up your data too, the game will explain to you why that's important. Also, you may not be able to drive to the university unless you're able to get a parking lot at the dorm. Granted, you can probably check out the locations but you can't actually drive to class.

no you dont need all cds in at once you download sims 2 then load expansion packs one at a time then when you play there will be buttons at the top symbolizing your expansions then click which one you want to play! im not sure if you can drive car 2 university.

all you do is install the expansion pack and the original sims 2 will detect it and all u have to put in in the the sims 2 cd. and i think u use a phone a click "go to university" and a car picks u up.

To address your questions.
Do I need 4 cds in my computer at once to play the game?
The Open Business, University, Night Life, and Sims 2 ?
---- No, you only need to have Open for Business in your CD drive for the game to run. If you have legal games and they were loaded using the correct original CDs, you will be able to play all the games using the OFB CD. Your OFB sims will be able to have kids that go to college, and will all be able to go downtown to meet vampires and/or invite zombies to your Sims 2 homes.

And could I actually drive a car to university?
---- This is actually several questions

Your sims going to Uni will need a parking place for their car, which means they will need to live in a house that has a driveway installed.

When it is time for classes, they walk to their classes. It's just like a real life college town without all the bicycles. :)

Sims cannot live in The Sims 2 town, nor downtown and go to college. They all move to college town at one of the three uni's when they do college.

The benefit of having a car is that it is quicker than taking a taxi to go to the Sims 2 town, or downtown, or to a student activity place on campus -- like the Student Union or the little cafes on campus. You cannot visit the other dorms or rental houses with or without using a car, but all the other student activities areas that can be visited by taxi can be visited by car. The car parks in the MIDDLE of the road. lol :)

You never actually go into a college class in the game, not by taxi nor by car... and that is why the car cannot take you to class - you walk there - which either happens automatically when its time for class, or you click on the sim and select 'college' and 'go to class' or 'go to exam'.
