Today, I rode my bicycle past some high school guys. As I went by, one guys says, "Yo, n*gg@, whass-up?"
He was a white kid, walking with another, and one black guy, and one Hispanic.
When I ( I'm a guy), told them jokingly that
I was too old for them, and a parent to boot, he said, "Oh, sorry man".
Why is acting "gangsta" so "cool" nowadays?
Whatever happened to being yourself?

My daughter is in high school with guys like these. She mocks them about how tough life is in the "inner suburbs"; & tells them that the real city would eat them alive.

I think its funny as hell! Well until a real N*gg@ comes around, then it back to reality. I love the fact that they hate us but they tan, dance, talk like us, and listen too and try and copy our music and style.
Just enjoy it man, its not worth the time nowadays.

I as a mother have told this to my children, "Be yoursefl, and if some one tells you that this way of talking is cool, remind them that at your fathers compnay there is no who talks like that, so SUCCESFULL HIGHLY PAID people do NOT talk like that, and with this SAGGING pants look, I swear, these boys dads are all in prison, so therefore, isnt this the prison-yard look and they are just wanting to look like daddy???

Pop icons like Oprah have glamorized illegal gangs and their activities. I feel like its part of the attack on traditional American culture and an attempt to bring about a more centralized govt.

its the society these days, just like it was cool to act like Elvis back in the day or someone like that. All of todays music is either pop or rap. I might add its shi* rap, I like the older rap of yesterday cause todays shi* sux but its what you see on TV. Eminem and guys like him. Typical clones.

I know son, its like some crazy *** crackers goin around actin gangsta and ****, nah im sayin. These fools need to reconize where they from, nah im sayin. Because they scare the **** out of honkies like yous, nah im sayin.
