No, they grade you on the quality of your work. If you didn't do well on a test, why should they give you a better grade than you deserve? I have always been alright with what grades I got. I didn't mind getting D's in math because I was horrible in it and I only did half of the homework assignments. In English though, I earned every A I got! Your grades reflect your performance!

Why would you want to hurt someone because you didn't earn a better grade? You should do your best and be happy with that. Your teacher has nothing to do with how much effort you put into your homework or studying for exams.

No, because they're not giving the bad grade at random. They're giving the bad grade because it's what I earned -- either through cutting class, being disruptive or simply being a bonehead. I got a "D" in college algebra because I simply had NO idea what the heck it was about. I wasn't stupid. I just wasn't wired for that kind of math.

You get what you deserve.
