I just installed a fresh copy of Windows a couple of hours back, and 10 minutes ago, I started my PC and found all my desktop icons text high-lighted in blue and the text is in white...

Check out the screenshot:

I want to set it back to the default transparent setting...

Note:
I tried removing the shadow effect on desktop icons and did nothing
The blue color is basically the main background color...when I change it, the icons background color changes as well...

Need your help as soon as possible as its really annoying...

Than you all in advance

Thank you all for your help, and special thanks to "conradj213" who gave me a link that had a lot about my problem and helped me resolve it...

The solution to the problem was as follows:
Display Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web

Under"Web Pages" there was a weird image weblink that displayed that blue highlight...
Once I deleted it and confirmed that, everything was back to normal...

Thank you all

Go to Start Menu, Control Panel, then Click on System (Make sure your control panel is on Classic View), then go to the Advanced tab. Under Performance, click on SETTINGS. Under the Visual Effects tab, check the option that says, "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop". Your desktop icon text should now be transparent.

Perhaps if you can't activate the Cleartype effect your video card has not been correctly recognized.
