I'm totally in love with my bf, but he only loves me as a friend and I now know that he'll never love me more than that, so is there a way I can stop having these deep feelings for him?

It would be nice if we could just find the off switch for feelings, but alas, we can not. True love cannot be turned off, if it could, the it would be called "infatuation" Time is the only thing that can heal things like a broken heart from someone not reciprocating feelings. Once you love someone, they will always hold a special place in your heart.

You will always have feelings for him. It seems timing is not fair because when you fall out of love with him he may actually fall in love with you. Usually guys want what they can't have.
