I have to say that being rich doesn't mean you know baseball. Please let baseball people run your team. After all that's what you pay them for. There is nothing wrong with your team. You make the playoffs every year. Think of the teams that hardly ever or never make it like the Cubs, Phillies, Pirates, Royals, and so on. So you haven't won the world series in six years. Your last pennant was in 2003. That's not too bad. Hell, look at how many franchises would love to win just one pennant. You did the right thing by letting Joe continue managing. With a few trades and a revamped pitching staff your Yankees should be fine. 97 wins ain't bad!!!

I would say "George, you're the man who puts his signagers on those paychecks. You’re the man who gets those high-paying players from other teams in order to win a championship, but in turn this team can win one."

"It has six years since this team has had a championship, and may I remind you that the last time this team became World Champs was against the Mets. 2007 will be Joe Torre's last year as Yankee Skipper. For havens sake's get some players that can play real baseball."

"Tell Cashman to get off his "high horse" and start looking for some young bloods. Players that can play real baseball, if that means searching the World for new talent. Cashman need to go to the colleges and university and look for the next Lou Gerrig, Babe Ruth, or Reggie Jackson. Cashman need to travel out of the country and look for talent in other parts of the World. You got guys out there who have been playing baseball since they were kids and wished one to play for the Yankees."

"And if Cashman can fine one before the start of the next season, then you give him his "walking paper."

"By George, these are the Yankees. This is the team that supposes to win a championship every year. This is the team that is suppose to be hated by every other team in the league and admired by the fan both here and around the World, but now with them losing against the Detroit Tiger, a team that has not been in the Play-off in almost two decades, we're become the laughing stock of the World."

"Therefore George, my advice is getting your house in order and start getting a hell of a good team together before the fans start loosing faith in you and the team."

That's want I would tell good old George.

Dump Joe. Joe Torre is a so-so manager, not bad, yet he's not strong enough for the egos on the team. He's a baby-sitter who's burned out but enjoys baby sitting for a bunch of All-Stars who choke under pressure.
