I always study for my tests and quizzes no matter how small. But my friends always make fun of me for studying saying that it is for losers and what kind of teenager am I. I do so much better on tests that I study for. Are they right? Am I a loser?

No, your the smart one. Keep studying and you'll show them eventually. Especially when you get good grades that get you into a good college.

Absolutely not a loser. The best attribute anyone can have is a yearning or thirst for knowledge. Remember this also, Bill Gates was taunted as a loser and geek too. Look at him now!! You have a competitive spirit and desire to do well. That will result in long term success for you. True friends accept you as you are and also accept your values as a part of who you are. Your friends are leveling. That means they can't reach your level so they feel the need to pull you down to theirs. Stay Strong and true.

Definitely not, they're the losers. As you said, when you study you do well. Don't stop studying and let them screw up by not studying. They should learn from you. Very very few people could get through school without studying. I studied for three hours for my psychology test last week and I got a 98%. It pays to study.

No. You care about your future, even if they couldn't care less about theirs. You're not a loser for studying. I don't study because I usually don't need to, but it always helps to look over the information the night before. There's nothing wrong with being concerned with your education. Stop listening to what they say. If they want to flunk out, they can, but you can obviously do better!
Good luck!

No - you are admirable for taking school seriously. In ten years they'll be welfare-riding chunks of couch slime and you'll be enjoying the benefits of a good education and the career of your choice.

You are not a loser. I never regretted working hard in high school, and ultimately got into the university of my dreams (Cambridge).

When you get into a great college and graduate and start making tons of money while they are flipping burgers, you can call them losers. Trust me, you are not a loser!
