I always study for my tests and quizzes no matter how small. But my friends always make fun of me for studying saying that it is for losers and what kind of teenager am I. I do so much better on tests that I study for. Are they right? Am I a loser?

no you are not. they are. compare your grades, you probably get much better grades, and if you dont, tell the teacher to wach them for cheeting. i have a freind who said he never studyed for a test and he always got good grades, guess what, he cheeted on every one of them and one day got caught because some one said some thing to the teacher about him not studying. another person i know (NOT A FREIND OF MINE) is failing math 50 in school, math 50 is the LOWEST math you can take (this is a college) at any school, they teachthis stuff in 2and grade. he never studyed for a tes in his life and look at him now, HE is a loser. you are not DON'T let ANYONE say that about you for studying for a test.

Of course you're not a loser! That's dumb of them to say you are. If they cheat to get good grades or if they don't get good grades they're the losers. If you do better on the tests you study for you must be doing something right. But don't feel like you have to study like crazy for the smallest quiz or something. Usually if you pay attention in class you won't have to study so much. Your friends are probably just jealous.

God No! You are not a loser! You are a winner. Losers are ones who don't study! You will get into a good college and get a great job. And 10 years from now when you go home and get some fast food and see your friends ask, " Do you want fries with that?" Then you can laugh and say "LOSER!"
Keep up the good work!

Absolutely not a loser. The best attribute anyone can have is a yearning or thirst for knowledge. Remember this also, Bill Gates was taunted as a loser and geek too. Look at him now!! You have a competitive spirit and desire to do well. That will result in long term success for you. True friends accept you as you are and also accept your values as a part of who you are. Your friends are leveling. That means they can't reach your level so they feel the need to pull you down to theirs. Stay Strong and true.

You answered your own question...you do better when you study. A loser would be a person who knows he can succeed by lets other's choose his path for him. Doing well in school can only lead to more opportunities later on. If your friends think you are a loser because you choose to work hard to succeed, they aren't very good friends. Keep on studying.

No your not a loser. They sound more like losers. You continue to study and let them think what they want. At the end you'll see who graduates on time.

NO they are soo wrong. Of course you need to study. They must suck on their own tests to be teasing you. There is nothing wrong with studying and it is crucial for education and your future choices in life. Find some new friends and keep studying. What kind of teen are you? A teen who thinks and is setting himself up for a good life.

its straight to study and get good grades, but make sure that you have a social life. Live a little. Not every test is worth studying for. Before you start studying, think about how important it is and if you get it enough so, and decide if it is really necessry to study for. Also, don't brag about a high test score. Ever. gg
