Actually the owl of destiny is a pathological liar who says he's telling the truth. Such an enormous fibber is he that he is not in fact even an owl, but a reed warbler in disguise. The shrew is of course Detective Inspector Shrew of The Sweeney, and it's only a matter of time before the owl of destiny gets his collar felt for certain accounting irregularities in his tax returns.
"Put your feathers on, you're nicked!"

owls are associated with death and misfortune(destiny) as well as wisdom and prosperity.
shrews are unable to stand still for long due to their high metabolic rate and are forever busy.
so I guess we each have our destiny to full fill, with time being against us while we per sue our destiny. many of us ,like the shrew are just rushing around to stay alive. Perhaps we are being asked to take a look at the priorities in our life , as destiny or fate will win out anyway, and we will make better use of our time.

It's quite amusing.

This stinks like pure wisdom. And people like you, with such a classic taste for wisdom, are found only few and far between nowadays. You must be valued for all ages of time. This is almost approached to be fabulous only if I were not watching to much natural history programmes.

Well ,apparently "a busy squirrel is followed by a chirping thrush", not forgetting that "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". Although I tend to think that a hand in the bird ....But we'd better not go there !

wow. If i understand that statement at all--here's my response. Time is all you have, and no the truth isnt given just becaus eyour time is eaten away. The 'now' you live compared to eternity is nothing. But if you live to see it by the grace of the One who is above, then you would have lived to witness the truth to your question or destiny.
