ok so FINALLY after 3 months of un-natural facial acne my face has cleared up (for the most part) NOW i have breast & back acne...they are painful, big, small, blackheads & and pussie white, they itch cuz i have this habbit of popping them, thats cuz they hurt more if they are left alone (if the nasties are out there is less pressure in them, so it feels better)...i feel really ugly with all that crap on me. i have tried everything, facial cleansers, body cleansers, zit cream, you name it ive tried it. its to the point where i dont want to take my shirt off in front of my man cuz it is soo ugly im soo frustrated what can i do? am i the only one dealing with this kind of crap? is this just something that i have to deal with (as in not a normal part of being pregnant) i cant wear any of my nice clothes, cuz they go past my neck & then you can see all of the zits, so i have resorted to wearing nasty t-shirts that go up high...this is driving me crazy!!! aahh please give me some advise??

I went through acne on my face during the first 3 months. Now I am 23 weeks and my face broke out last night with 3 pimples and my back has been breaking out too. My doc says use facial scrub and zit cream.(I know they don't work and by the time they do you are broke out somewhere else) I think this is just one of those things that we have to deal with while we are pregnant.

Make sure that you're drinking plenty of water. Your skin will get acne prone if you're not, not to mention all the bad dehydration effects you will have.

Tea tree makes some good face washes, and body washes. I always switch to tea tree when pregnant, because my hormones never agree with me. When my hormones maxed out with this twin pregnancy, I used tea tree for face wash, and Neutrogena Acne body wash, I cleared up within a week. No breakouts since.

Sorry to say its just your body being pregnant. It will clear up sooner or later. At least your not throwing your guts up like I did for almost the whole nine months!! In the end you'll have a beautiful baby and all those zits will be gone. Hang in there!!!

Talk to your ob/gyn about getting a dermatologist (skin Dr.) referral... Acne during pregnancy is very common due to hormonal changes a dermatologist can help you in conjunction with your ob/gyn to find a treatment that will reduce the number and size of the break outs...

Call your ob/gyn tomorrow and ask for the referral they should be able to recommend someone over the telephone...

My breakouts mostly stayed on my face. I had a few body breakouts but you just have to wait for them to clear up. It is really frustrating I know but hang in there!! Around 5 or 6 months is when your hormone levels will even out and you will return to a semi-normal state.

I swear by Neosporin for zits..... I have made my boyfriend a follower, try it.... it helps, I take birth control and break out bad, and it helps...... Just relax, you are only pregnant for 9 months tops, then everything goes back to normal........ Chin up! ♣

Ahh yes the beauty of hormones-- what i found worked for me was to make sure to exfoliate my skin but some of this will just take time to clear itself up

I hear you. I never broke out on my face at all, but my back was covered in black heads. It was so gross. I would make my hubby come upstaris everynight when I had my tub and scrub my back with a loafa, never really cleared until I had him.
