I used to watch the show faithfully, but I just can no longer stand to watch this Brando wannabe.

Examples of what peeves me off:
His hands on his hips as he gazes off into the distance
The way he dramatically pulls his shades off as he says his lines
The rhetorical questions he is prone to ask
The way he stands sideways as he speaks to people

Do you agree? Is he a better actor in his own mind than in reality?
Perhaps you really like him, which is fine (though I respectfully disagree!).

No matter which way you feel, please share your thoughts.

i in my view can not stand David Caruso. i myself do think of that he's a terrible actor. For the guy that suggested that it's not his fault that the author's provide him crappy issues to declare, could think of relating to the reality that it's not basically the Writers, directors , manufacturers, and so forth., it additionally has to do with how the actor accepts the function and performs the character, so a number of it does come from the actor. i admire CSI Miami, i began observing it this 365 days, yet no longer because of the fact of David Caruso. i'm keen on Jonathan Togo and Adam Rodriguez.

Ha! I just voted him as the actor I detest the most on T.V. for your first example. I can't stand it. I loved the show and watched faithfully for a while, then his acting style just got on my nerves and I quit watching.

He's always given me the creeps. He seems to think he's a much better actor than the rest of the people he works with. Obviously this has been proven to him he's NOT, at least he should get this since his "MOVIE" career didn't work out, and he had to come back to TV.

Every time I watch the show I find myself screeching "drama queen!", out loud.
I could not agree with you more. Everything you pointed out is annoying to me also. Its as if he thinks he is on the set of Days of Our Lives! (He would never set foot there, of course).

I have never liked him. Whether it was on NYPD Blues or now CSI. His acting just seems stiff and there something wrong with his speech pattern

He was great in his original TV series but when he got so where he thought he was so great he decided the series wasn't good enough so he quit. He should have stayed in hibernation. He reminds me of these prima-dona ball players who are so over paid it's rediculous.

Another thing that bothers me is his whispery voice.

Acting.... is that what he is doing ???
He used to be okay when he was on NYPD Blues but then it went downhill from there.
