I often wonder how he treats them, he seems like he's not a very nice man, I could be wrong, what do you think?

Well according to the wrestling documentary "Beyond the Mat" Vince is seen as two different people by wrestlers and divas alike. If you don't cross him and work like you are suppose to work, he treats you fairly and is a very fair boss. If you screw up though, he's hell on wheels and there is no forgiveness. He's known to scream, but at the same time he'll have your back. Vince supposedly wasn't all that accomodating when it comes to altering the schedule for family emergencies and has promptly fired wrestlers for it. Viewing it like... there are so many wrestlers out there, he could get anyone to fill their shoes... But there is suppose to be avenues of communication for that sort of thing now.

If you only watch the "show" he is a up tight boss and a bad a$$! He only cares about himself and family... but that's all an act, just like most of the show is. (But it is very entertaining)
I think outside of the show he is a respectable guy and a good boss to his employees. Its great that he is involved in the work place and the script of what happens on RAW or Smack Down!
