rainbows are created when there is light infront of the rain...so find a really sunny spot and spray a hose into the air...you will see a rainbow

A rainbow is bending of light when the sun reflects off of moisture.... Example... After it rains, you see a rainbow. That's because there is a lot of moisture in the air and the sun's rays are reflecting off of the light, causing it to bend along with the horizon line, that's why the rainbow is arched....
You can usually make a rainbow by spraying a hose where it is not a big glob of water, let it spray (apart like rain drops) and holding it just right to the sky.

Take a box of crayons and a piece of white paper. Drawing in a curve you start with Red, then Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and lastly Violet (Purple). To make a real rainbow on a sunny day, use nature to your advantage. You will need water and light to refract through it. Use a hose with a fine mist sprayer. Spray the water so the sunlight shines on it and you will see a rainbow.

Take a hose on a sunny day, somehow tie it up so it's pointing upward, it has to be on cement. Turn the hose on and wait till it's wet everywhere, then walk around and you should find a rainbow!!!

You can also buy a prism - a triangular piece of plastic or glass... Put it in front of any light and it will separate the light into a rainbow...
