The kind of people that are being drawn to you by your willingness to buy them things are obviously not the kind of people who you want to try to be friends with. Friendship is about the intangible things -- the common interests, goals, etc., the loving bond you share as people. It's no different than family.
You can't buy friendship. All you seem to be buying are shallow, greedy people who may say they're your friends long enough to get something out of you. I recommend you socialize and find true friends.
Good luck.

Well, if they hate you, they're not your friends. Stop buying them stuff. Start treating them the way they're treating you and see if they like it.
You can find better friends. And, don't use gifts as a way to become someones friend because that will only cause them to use you and pretend to be your friend when really all they want is the stuff you're purchasing for them.

You kinda answered your own question. Why should your friends like you just because you buy them stuff. HELLO, they're taking advantage of you. Stop buying them stuff, get a self-esteem, and find some new friends.

I don't want to be mean, but they're not your friends. You need to go find friends who like you for you, even if you don't buy them anything. You need people who make you feel good about being you. Good luck!

Sounds to me like these are not real friends. You cannot buy friends and shouldn't have to.
