2. Two Endpoints and all between them is a SEGMENT
3. Lines that meet at a 90 degree angle are PERPENDICULAR lines (this is not complementary)
4. And (sic.) "angle formed by opposite rays is a STRAIGHT ANGLE (this is not vertical angles)
5. The 4 parts of a coordinate plane are the QUADRANTS (I, II, III, and IV)

Step by step: 1) Figure out slope: Slope of a perpendicular line is opposite reciprocal of the line given, therefore slope is -1/2. You now have y=-1/2x+b. 2) Solve for b by substituting in points given: (4)=-1/2(3)+b. you now have 4=-3/2+b. 3) b=11/2 4) Now finish your equation: y=-1/2x+11/2 Hope I helped! Erik
