Here are two:
1) Woman gets fat and man is no longer as attracted to her.
2) Man interested in sexual variety.

"Roaming" as in seeing other people while in another relationship? If you are married there are no reasons- you made a choice to marry someone and you should be honorable and stay with your commitment. If you are dating someone unless there is an engagement then roaming is fine as long as you are open and honest with anyone you date or see. It all comes down to be open and honest.

Regardless, of the reason....Cheating is a way to keep the main
relationship intact...until you find someone else you want to spend time with. Instead of just leaving first, and alone. You may
feel you need a good reason to leave, ie., another woman. That way.....you feel more justified....and it's easier that way for you.

I think it could be lack of attention. Needing more from your significant other. If the communication isn't there then the problems start to arise. If he isn't listening to your needs maybe seeking professional help would do the trick. There are soooooooo many reasons why we would want to roam but..... none of them would be justifiable.

Roaming meaning drifting apart or cheating? It's because the two people invovled lost something they once had, and because their communication abilities weren't as great as they wanted to believe, they don't discuss the problems soon enough to prevent this.

Unhappiness either sexually, financially, or emotionally. Needs are not being met in these areas, so one spouse decides to see if the "grass is greener on the other side"

When a relationship lasts for a long time, it can get very boring. People may want to try something different.
