Flirting through aggression??????????????
My best friend is always hitting me playfully. She is a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15, and people keep saying she is flirting. Today, for example, she just hit me in the head with a school book (lol) for no reason. We have known each other for 2 years. First off, do you think this actually is her way of flirting? She doesn't do it to other people. And also, what should I do back? Should I also playfully mess around with her?
Is this actually a way of flirting?
Also, when she isn't messing like this, she is more serious to me than others, she tells me if she is feeling bad.
Another thing related to mthis is that when we are around friends, she does this and we playfully mock each other, but when we are alone she is more sincere with me.
All of theis is playfull, she is fairly petite, and I am well.,., not, lol, I'm a black belt and stuff.

next time she hits you, whacked her on the butt with your book. if she's flirting, she'll start giggling.

It sounds as if she is crazy about you and she is trying to make sure you don't forget she is there when other ppl are around. Try giving her a little extra attention when you are hanging with your friends, she may feel a little insecure when they are around. Also, some girl DON'T mature faster than guys so that is probably why she is handleing things the way she is. Do little things when you all are socializing with the same ppl, like: touch her arm, when you aren't speaking look over and smile at her, wipe "immaginary fuzz" off her cheek (very gently), play with her hair, just little things to let her know that you haven't forgotten her. Now don't do it too much it may scare her if she isn't use to it and she'll pick at you even more. It's just an idea, now if you don't like her that way, it's best if you put a stop to her antics immediately b4 you start hating her! Good luck!

Some girls actually do flirt in aggressive ways.
Sometimes, it's a much better attention-getter than batting the eyelashes or prissing.
It sure sounds like she really likes you... a lot.
If you're gonna playfully mess around with her, just be sure to be careful cause she might bruise easy... & have fun!

Oh she is definately flirting with you - i use to do that when i was at school, whenever i liked someone i would playfully hit, tease and mock them.....flirt back with her, good luck

This could be her way of flirting but then again she may just see you as a good friend she can talk to and hang out with. But I think she sees you as a good friend she can trust to say what she feels. But youll never know for sure unless you ask her.

yes that is a way of flirting. what u should do is jus smile and if she is behind u when she does it jus turn around and smile at her then put ur arm around her and ask her to the movies or to ur house to watch some movies and yes u can do it back but make sure it really don't hurt her(LOL)good luck

yes she likes you and yes she is flirting. try flirting back and see how she reacts. take her to a movie if you can and if you're brave enough try holding her hand. When I was in 9th grade my best friend at the time, a boy named Kyle, did this very thing and its one of my best memories.

Yup, I think she is flirting with you, or she is just really friendly. I had this same problem (well if you call it a problem) with this girl. People told me she was flirting as well. So one day she asked me out...So i guess it is flirting...

Anyway, since you seem to not be getting the point, yes, it would seem as though she is forced to hit you upside the head to get you to understand she is interested in you. ;)
