I am not offended by the usage of curse words per se; I am offended by the unneccessary usage that is just plain lazy songwriting. There are thousands of words that can be used in place of swearing, and it takes a creative mind to come up with something new. It's like you know the person, you know, who is like too dumb to, you know, say anything, like, you know, meaningful. Learn to write! Don't use the F-word as a placeholder! But then again, a properly entered curse word can absolutely magnify a song.

I'm not. The ones that are offended have been socialized to feel offended by this word. If they grew up using it as a normal word they wouldn't be offended.

I'm not offended by it. But, I use it as a clear sign that the 'artist' lacks talent in song writing.

Not really offended, I just won't listen to it, because if someone is a real artists, they don't have to shake thier booty, or use vulger language to make a good song.

I'm not at all. I listen to all kinds of music and I've heard in hard rock, rap & country. When I'm in a mood, I use it myself. No big deal to me.
