They have about as much of a chance to win it all as I have of getting a date with J. Anniston. Just remember....It's ok to dream.

Well, interesting question.Being a Vikings fan for 35 years now the quick answer is no...but,the Vikings should have beat the Bears, should have a record of 4-1 but,I think if they give Jackson a shot after he heals they might stand a better chance. They just got rid of Drew Henson and signed a new WR so as another person wrote they are headed in the right direction.Chester Taylor can't keep up the pace of carries he's got now but as we all know the Baltimore Ravens went all the way with a quarterback not as good as Johnson,so anything is possible. But if they manage to keep the same personnel next year and maybe can move up the draft and get a good running back who knows what will happen next year.By the way, have you heard Randy is looking to get out of Oakland,,,,mmmm!!!Things that make you go..mmmm.

Not really, and I'm a Vikings fan. Brad Johnson is the best quarter back they've had since Fran Tarkenton, really.
Some people will mention Warren Moon, but Moon was in his 40s when the Vikings acquired him.
Brad Johnson is what, 36 - 38? In sports, that's not a spring chicken.

Take it from a lifelong Vikes fan, our offense can't carry us all the way and our D is a linebacker or two away from being truly great.
I love the direction we're going but we need a stud WR and probably a new QB, Brad just isn't a playmaker, to make a run. I will hold out hope but I don't see us getting past the Bears even if we make the playoffs.

Who in the NFC can they beat (contenders more specifically).

Do you think they can beat the bears? at all? No. Sorry. I'm a hawks fan, and i saw what they did to us. But I'll root for Hutchinson and his crew to pull one out (I miss hutch!)

Do you think they can come to seattle and win? LOL no. Not a chance. They wont win this upcoming game, and they couldn't win on in the playoffs either.

Beat Philly? Probably not (I'm assuming they are going to be the team to beat in the NFC East). Playing in philly would pose a problem. If they were lucky enough to have philly at home, then MAYBE They might win a playoff game.

Atlanta, New orleans, Carolina? (whoever happens to win this division)... MAYBE they can. Depending on which team is at home and if either of the teams are hot. I would probably pick the Vikings over New Orleans, and Atlanta, but I think Carolina will be difficult to contain at the end of the season. With Smith back, they've already shown you a little bit of what their offense will be like.

Sorry... I think the best the Vikings can muster is a playoff win against an NFC south team, or against Philly in Minnesota.

Good Luck, and for your sake...I hope we at least get to see ya'll in the NFC championship game!

GO HAWKS! (yes, I can scream this even tho the bears creamed us).

I think they have a *shot*, but they will have to play some better football. Since the NFC North is terrible, they only have the Bears to contend with. Even so, they would still have to beat Eagles, Panthers or other good teams that I just don't think they can beat right now.

But, who knows? That is why football is a good sport. It's somewhat predictable but you never know. It is only Week 6 so anything could happen. If Grossman gets injured (Please GOD NO!) then it may be a better chance.

No but they are getting there. I think Brad Childress was a smart move as head coach. They still have too many parts that need to upgraded to "go all the way".

I don't think so, but their defense sure has looked good lately. I just think the Bears have too many weapons on both sides of the ball.

No chance, they won't get on the first base with me, vikings are pretty disgusting, primitive people who probably never shower.
