That's the problem with many Americans; they tend to not care about recent changes that have develop with our Legislation Branch. Congress, along with the Senate voted to allow the Executive Branch (President) to dully name anyone, he thinks is Enemy Combatant. This by the way; could be US citezens as well as those outside this country. The reasons never have to be validated or justified. It could happen to a report doing an expose piece. That person's 6th Amendment Right would be taken away, and they could be placed in jail without due process of Heibious Corpus. Wake up people, there is an election on the way!

it amazes me to think that so many Americans will be so upset and yell bloody murder when the news media tells them that the terrorist have been mistreated,the very ones who have tried to blow up our people, country etc, yet,when our police, F,B,I, etc, tortures a American citizen who they say has committed a crime of the least proportions are tortured, they will say; "good they deserve it" if you don't know this then think how the government has a 98.8 conviction rate, some how I think something is wrong with this picture

You don't win a war by being mister nice guy. These people are not forign soldiers engaged in legitimate combat. They are terrorists who activly try to kill as many civilians as possible. If cutting their fingers off one by one with bolt cutters will gain usefull intel that's what you do. You should be greatful we have people who know how to extract information to keep thousands of other Americans from being killed.
