For some reason, it seems like when you lock the doors, open them and then try to start it, the alarm goes off and disables the ignition too so it wont start. It is extremely annoying not to mention inconvenient when I need to be somewhere. When I had the remote starter I could just press the unlock button a few times and that seemed to switch it off. I, of course, have lost it soo...I need to figure something else out. Can anyone help me with this. Something besides taking it to a garage..cant afford it right now. My brother is pretty handy with cars and might be able to follow someones directions on how to disable it. Thanks.

lowsey anty theft devices i hate them to it may be a broken wire in the drivers door jam nere the hinges
and no you cant disable it and o how i wish you could
the dealer will sell you a new remote if you want one
