I have an 1800's hand painted plated attributed to two artist, J. Smit & J. Wolf.?

The picture depicts a male and female pheasant. Very well done.

Is anyone familar with these artist and is the esitmated value of this piece known?

Hey Stewart,

This sounds quite valuable. You should contact a fine arts dealer. There are many listed on the internet. Searching for these artists yields too many extraneous sites. Wolf, brings up all kinds of animal sites, and Smit, is way too common.
