Tell your teacher that she's seriously dumb for giving a question like that. Basketball players don't score the same amount of points every game or get the same amount of rebounds. But anyway, the way to solve it is:

Divide 38,387/1,560 = 24.6 = 25 points per game(when rounded)
Divide 17,440/1560 = 11.17 = 11 rebounds per game (when rounded).

Rebounds per game is like miles per hour miles/hour
rebounds/games
17440 / 1560 = 11.179
11.2 rebounds per game rounded to the tenths

Points per game is the same
points/games
38387 / 1560 = 24.607
24.6 points per game rounded to the tenths

So you are trying to find the unit rate of each of these. So to find a unit rate, you put the number of points, over the number of games. Then you divide by the number of games to get one at the bottom of your fraction. Then divide the number of points by the number of games
Points per game- about 24.6
Rebounds- about 11.8 rebounds
Hope this helps you
