95 grand am, and my driver side window get stuck every now and
then i need to get it fix could that be wearing the battery down too.

No on the door wearing down the battery.....Sears, Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Firestone ect. You just need a new battery....most batteries only have a 3-4 yr life. So if you have a 95 and the batteries never been changed you have totally gotten your monies worth.

As for the driver side window....you can take you door apart on it's really easy and anyone can do it. Just pop open you manual or go on-line and they will show you step by step instructions. Most likely there's just something stuck on the mechanism or it just needs to be cleaned. An auto mechanic will charge you an arm and leg.

don't listen to the guy about optima battery's there not great as everyone says but just got get one from walmart or i prefer napa but what ever is around you and the closest go to it every auto store has battery and they all are the same. your battery probable isn't the problem in this case

The cables may be the problem. You can get a good battery at Wal-Mart (they install for FREE), and they have a 3 yr free replacement battery proratted up to 9 years. They are also every where - so what more can you ask....

Well, Optima batteries are the best! They are famus for there yellow and red top batteries. You can get them at Autozone, and Advance Auto, maybe Fleet Farm.

Find a store that sells DEKA or Car Quest they have the best built battery.

Checked an consumer reports on the best auto batteries and surprisingly Walmart has some of the best. that's if you odn't mind shopping there.

Get a KIRKLAND brand battery from Costco. They have warranties... Yay!
