One of many things. Loads and loads of computer stuff people can do.
I could get one of mine to tell me in speech if anyone has gone round the back of the house while I've been out, when and how long for, and if I'd like to see a video clip taken. Or go onto another menu item.

I would probably be doing some work, or maybe just looking at the icons trying to make it look like work. The beauty of Yahoo answers is all in the typing noise generated from answering questions such as this one therby making me sound very busy :)
