No I done dink dat I shooda be doin you homa worka.
But my opinion is that there should be some restriction as to allow equal chance for election. It wouldn't be fair to allow a super wealthy person to increase the chances of a win due to an exorbitant political campaign.

No. It's a sad fact that money and politics have always gone together. The early U.S. presidents weren't payed anything for being president partly because it was assumed they'd be rich enough in their own right not to need the money. These days one has to be rich and/or well connected to the rich to consider running for office. What incentive is there for any politician to consider the needs of the poor. I'm not sure the money could ever be taken out of politics but caps on campaign spending might be a place to start.

Too much money is wasted on candidate's ads and posters plastered all over the community. There should be a cap on how much a candidate can spend when running for office.

If everyone could spend what the wished, only the extremely weathy would get elected. It's a tough battle against someone who has money for commercials, air time, travel, etc.
That's why there are caps and campaign fundraising is regulated.

absolutely not! we lose many good candidates just because they are not wealthy ! why do you think it is always people who have plenty of money who are in office? if you dont have a lot of money behind you, you may as well not even try to get into politics.

No, that's my money and your money being wasted just for our lousy votes. I do not mind some money being used but wasting money does not sit well with me when I become a tax payer. If they want my future vote they should do something totally outrageous like...tell the truth. It would just be nice to hear them say "yeah, I am gonna take your money and screw you over with suck up promises that I do not intend to keep".

No, there should be a finite amount for all. American politicians have a very easy path to follow in order to become elected.
Sorry you'll have to write your own essay.

In 2004, they spent enough money to purchase health
insurance for every person in the U.S.
It's has gotten rather obscene.
