It hasn't got the "thorn", "eth" or "yogh" letters, though. My own edition is "Clarendon Medieval and Tudor Series", Edited by J A W Bennett (Oxford University Press). It replaces the Skeat. I'm sure you could find a copy in a larger bookstore, one that specialises in classics and books for students. Or you could order one. Good luck.

I had a module on this for my final year English degree. Amazing book but tough exam-wise. College bookshops are the best bet. If it is on the syllabus, they should stock it. Second hand bookshops usually have a college section too. You'd probably only find the modern english version in other bookshops. Otherwise, Amazon or Play.com.

It's not old english, it's middle english. I had to read it for my English degree.

You can buy it from Amazon for about £6.
