I think we are in deep manure. The war on terrorism isn't really doing anything one way or the other. The problem is FDR(may he burn in hell) and his new deal socialism that threw the Country into debt.
I think we are going to see an economic collapse not only in the US but on a global stage. Last time we had a depression people were civil because they didn't expect handouts and were grateful for anything that was given to them by people. Now we have an army of welfarites who actually believe they have a right to obtain food, clothing and shelter without having to pay for it. These people are going to burn the cities and the surrounding areas after the collapse. Move as far away from the cities as you can and prepare to deal with these people when they show up at your door to steal your food, take your home and kill you.
The only good thing that will come from the collapse is we will have the opportunity to rid ourselves of these parasites once and for all.

No nation lasts forever. The "USA" might come very close, but in a far different format. The creation of a fence to the south to keep mexicans out will certainly be followed by one at the north to keep Americans in. There is sufficient logic and evidence to support the theory that we are headed toward a future full of RFID implants and total governmental control even beyond what was invisioned in 1984. If that does come to pass, the potential for an "endless" government would be more likely because a revolution requires revolutionaries and planning, both of which cannot exist under total surveilance. So in theory, the eternal government is already within in reach... scary thought that it is...

i do no longer think of, you like ever difficulty relating to the death of the so referred to as "US Empire". they have been hurting for a while now and the country is quite feeling the pinch, monetarily. With the conflict in Afganistan and Iraq sucking up many of the money slated for lots of different endevours on your very own us of a, to assist your very own human beings. quite, they are going for the super conflict gadget, that has interestingly slowed down, with the bring about question!! Any monies stored previous to the Bush reign, has long long gone and been wasted, with the nationwide debt starting to be by the day....... Time for a metamorphosis yet?? You tell me!!

I didn't realize we were an empire. And i beg to differ the Chinese empire still exist. Britain still holds economic ties to its empire through a commonwealth. The reason we are in debt is because we spent trillions try to save the world from communist domination. we also spend lots of money trying to save the world through the united nations.

If America WERE an empire, there'd be no Canada or Mexico. Just North USA and South USA.

Putting your opinion in the form of a question does not make it a question.
