It took me a long to really be ok with who I am, but I defiantly am very happy with myself now. I don't know if it's something that happens to you when you hit your 30's, but it seems like that's the way it has been for me and my friends. Even with a husband, children, and the everyday demands of just being a full time mother, I still feel like there is far less pressure on me now then there was when I a little bit younger. I'm in the best shape of my life, even after having four children, and I love taking care of myself and exercising, but I didn't always feel that way! I truly think I enjoy it now because I do it for myself. I want to look good for me, and not the rest of the world. (And yes, I do like looking good for my husband! But he's such a sweetheart, and I could weigh 800 pounds and he would never criticize me or make me feel bad.)
I'm 32, I don't feel the need to have to impress anyone or try and figure out where my life is going. I know I'm right where I need and want to be, and I feel good about myself.

In a way, yes, but no at the same time. I'm good at academics, so I like that about me. But I'm not good at running, so that's something I don't like. I don't have the perfect figure, that bothers me. I have too much flab, and stretch marks on my arms and legs, that kills. My legs look funky, I don't like that. I think I have a big nose, and my face is really oily and shiny looking, those are things I don't like. But I do like my personality, and my eyes. Haha. So I guess I'm more uncomfortable than I'm comfortable. But hey, what can you do? You've gotta live as who you are.

No, I was never a very secure person to be honest. I was always put down by my parents, so that could be why.

Sure am. I think who I am is inside, not outside. And if people don't like the way I look they can't turn their heads the other way, cause I don't care what anyone thinks. Don't get me wrong, I look fine, but you can't please all the people all the time.

No.
I really do hate myself. I'm uncomfortable in my skin -- I know I don't belong.

Why do you care?
